BACK to ABOUT US

Sarah Bell: Sarah grew up in Roxbury , New Jersey. She graduated from Fordham University at Lincoln Center New York in 2004 with a B.A. in Theatre performance. After graduating, she studied with Per Brahe in Bali , Indonesia and played Vyasa in his famous Iron Net installation. Sarah managed the Producers Club, New York, and in that time executively produced and starred in the highly popular Girls. Past Fordham Credits include: Girls (Betty), Pardon Me Justin Righteousness (May), Faustus/Faustus (Gertrude Stein) directed by Matthew Maguire, The Cuchlain Cycle (Emer) directed by Sonoko Kawahara, Twelfth Night (Feste) and Stop Kiss (Sara). She has also studied under Andrea Haring, Larry Sacharow, and Kate Burton. Sarah is the only female member of the nine person cast that comprises the Comedy Troupe FUCT which  mixes stunt humor, sketch comedy, and a general lack of personal safety.

Jon Crane: Jon founded FUCT at Fordham University with a fellow Christian classmate who has since left the group (due to a conflict of interest).  FUCT has provided Jon with the rare artistic opportunity to endeavor as a writer, actor, improv technician, director and whatever else needs to be done.  In FUCT, he found the only place where he could apply his dual degree in philosophy and theatre by creating jokes that are neither comprehensible nor funny.  With FUCT, he has performed at Fordham University, the Rattlestick Theatre, the Producers Club, the Upright Citizens Brigade, and the Studio at Cherry Lane Theatre. There is no greater joy for Jon than creating and performing with this FUCT ensemble.

Joe Galan: Joe began with FUCT in its first show at Fordham back in 2002. Being the only senior in the group, Joe graduated after that initial performance, and was only able to appear again with FUCT in brief cameos. When the idea to bring the show outside of Fordham first surfaced, Joe immediately jumped at the chance to bring his unique and slightly twisted sense of humor back to the stage. Joe graduated from Fordham University with a B.A. in Theatre Performance and Set Design. Since graduating, Joe has both acted and designed sets and props numerous times in and around New York. Most notably with the New York International Fringe Festival where he won the 2003 Excellence Award for Best Set Design (The House of Merry).  Joe loves creating, writing and performing with FUCT, a group of true, artistic misfits.

Tommy Galan: Tommy has been a member of FUCT since November 2005.  In addition to acting, he contributes as a writer.  In 2003, through collaboration with his brother Joe, Brothers Galan Productions was born. Brothers Galan produced The Only Thing Straight is My Jacket, and the 2003 Fringe Festival performance of The House of Merry, which received an Excellence Award for best set design. Tommy began comedy in 1995, experimenting at the age of seventeen with stand-up clubs in New York. Through college, he continued his study of acting and improvisation. After studying law, he earned a juris doctorate in December 2001. Tommy is excited to be back on-stage, writing and collaborating with such an adaptable and innovative team.

Brian Gillespie: Brian joined the FUCT troupe in 2004 while a junior at Fordham University. Whether running around in nothing but a dance-belt and a smile, or doing interpretive dance to German Techno, Brian constantly strives to humiliate himself for the entertainment of others. Brian has performed in FUCT at The Producer's Club and the Studio at Cherry Lane. Other recent projects include appearing in the film "Annapolis," and he just wrapped shooting a new television ad for Pennsylvania Tourism.

Ian Lassiter: Ian joined FUCT as a founding member when the then Fordham seniors who conceived the idea for the show invited him to perform his Maya Angelou bit—a bit that had been widely known and enjoyed throughout the school already. With poetry spouting, and dressed completely in Maya regalia (huge breasts and all), Ian found his place in FUCT as the multi-character playing, often cross-dressed, wild man. Ian began his entertaining career performing a forty-five minute, comedy spectacular at a Starbucks coffee shop at the age of seventeen. From there he was drawn into the theatre world and continues to strive to create new forms of theatre and expression.

Janio Marrero: Born and raised in Hato Rey, Puerto Rico, Janio came to New York to study and pursue an acting career. While in Fordham he encountered the Fordham Underground Comedy Troupe and joined them for their 2nd show. He’s been seen in Off-Broadway shows like Luces de Bohemia and Momma’s Boyz.  He also starred in HERE Arts Center production of Erendira where he was critically acclaimed.  He has participated in a number of TV movies as well as commercials in both New York and Puerto Rico.  Now, he works for the Cherry Lane Theatre as Production Manager and owns a custom made carpentry company.  He also actively pursues a career as a comedian along with the rest of the FUCT company.

Graham Skipper:  Proud to be one of the original members of FUCT, having helped start it in the winter of 2001 during his freshman year at Fordham University.  After four years of hard work, study, and 2am chicken wings, he graduated in 2005 with a B.A. in Theatre Performance, and has since been seen performing with FUCT, as well as various productions around New York City.  He has been seen at the Bank Street Theatre in Paradise Lost: The Musical, the Access Theatre in Marat/Sade, the Village Theatre in Moral Values: A Grand Farce or Me No Likey The Homo Touch-Touch, HERE Arts Center in InsideOut, and most recently at LaMama in Carravagio Chiaroscuro and the West End Theatre in Magis Theatre Company's production of The Witlings.  Way back in the day he co-starred in the Sundance Film Late Bloomers and recently finished filming the short film Essence with Raw Power Productions.  He's also working through his issues regarding public nudity, and is confident that some day soon he will be able to overcome the urge to drop his clothing in settings where nudity is inappropriate - like weddings, or trips to the zoo.  Ultimately, Graham is dedicated to making FUCT everything that it can be, and is honored to be a member of this troupe with such miscreants and ne'er-do-wells.
